Software and Local Resources

• Course Online - This is where you will submit your assignments and check your grades for the course, etc. You will need to login using your Campus Connect id and password which you received from DePaul ID Services.
• CDM Free Tutoring Services - CDM offers free tutoring services during the fall, winter and spring quarters for many undergraduate and graduate pre-requisite, fundamental, core and advanced courses. Limited summer tutoring hours may also be available.
• SSH download from CDM Computing Resources - you will use the Secure FTP client called SSH for publishing Web pages to your student accounts. Scroll down to "Software" and download the Zip file under "Windows Client". Another place where you can get a SSH client is http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty. More information about SSH can be found here.
• Using TextEdit on your Mac: This document describes how to change the preferences on TextEdit on your Mac in order to edit HTML documents as text file.
• Textpad – A shareware text editor for editing your HTML JavaScript, CSS files, etc. The shareware license is good for 90 days (which is longer than a DePaul quarter). Another good text editor: PSPad.
