Audaces is a premiere software company that focuses in automation of productive processes. It began in a 1992 when two computer science majors at a federal university started developing furniture software. After a few years, Audaces began developing clothing software due to high competition within the furniture market. This competition forced Audaces to sell their products at extremely low prices in order to compete. This ultimately resulted in the creation of alternate product lines. In 1996 Audaces began developing clothing CAD software, which has become one of their best sellers and has allowed them to gain more than 7% of the Brazilian market share. Today Audaces’s product lines are focused in clothing, furniture, upholstered goods, transport, glass, paper, and metal mechanics. Their products are exported throughout the world to Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. In recent years, Audaces has begun producing hardware and is the only company in Latin America to produce large-scale inkjet plotters including an upright (vertical) plotter.
Audaces takes pride in creating user-friendly software that allows their customers to be creative and productive. Audaces’s unparalleled customer service provides lifetime support for all their products, and welcomes customer input for new software releases. The software development lifecycle is managed using TDD – Test Driven Development and SCRUM. These practices allow Audaces to produce effective and accurate software iterations in a very short time frame thus giving them a key advantage in the market.
