Summary of the course:

This course introduces students to the role of information systems in today’s business environment. The course covers information systems analysis and design concepts. It also covers systems development life cycle and the various systems development methods, tools, and techniques. At the end of the course students should have a clearer understanding of:

1.The role of the systems analysis

2. How to use models to illustrate business functions and operations

3. Systems development tools, including models and CASE tools

4. The importance of SDLC
