Summary of the course:

This course will introduce students to various issues involved in implementing large scale systems. The course will introduce students to the functionalities and purposes of package solutions, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and supply chain. The course will also cover the following topics: requirements definition & packaged software selection, best practices and  change management. After completing this course students should:

  • Understand ERP implementation challenges
  • Key success factors in implementing large scale systems
  • Impact of large scale system implementation on organizational success
