Ghana 2012

Welcome to the DePaul University Study Abroad Ghana website. Here you will find information about our trip to Ghana in December of 2012. Our group was comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from many different fields of study. We journeyed to Ghana to do research on the technology, more specifically the IT and Telecommunication industry, of Ghana focused in Accra. The goal of our research was to assess the readiness of Ghana for the IT world. We structured our research based on a framework of six main areas: Learning, economy, outsourcing, access, society, and policy. The research along with cultural immersion filled our trip with experiences and memories never to be forgotten.
