In the network economy or e-economy IT/IS is playing significant roles in the success of business organizations. Many organizations are turning to the their IT units for survival and stability (see The Essence of Survival). Running an IT organization is not simple, it is a complex relationship between various stakeholders and partners who trust each other to play a vital role in achieving their joint success.

The objective of the Executive Panel Discussion is to bring together a distinguished group of panelists who are recognized for advancing IT resources in their organizations as a critical management tool in today’s business environment. The panel discussion will provide students and the business community with up-to-date information about the future of the IT organization, what counts and what does not.

Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running.
