Accenture has several delivery centers. The Accenture Delivery Center in Brazil is located in the largest and most populous country in South America and is well situated to provide an offshore alternative for the United States and to service all companies across Latin America .
It offers a superior technological and physical infrastructure to assist its clients in attaining high performance. The delivery center was assessed for Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 in December 2005
With more than 700 deeply skilled technical resources provided by Brazil 's large labor pool, the center has delivered solutions that have helped clients in industries such as banking, automotive, science, cosmetics and telecommunications achieve high performance. Services include application development and management and systems integration, which are all provided in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Company Visit
The visit to Accenture in Brazil was a great experience. We were all very impressed by the presentation given by Mr. Rodrigo Lobo. He shared many of the services that Accenture in Brazil provides. Mr. Lobo spoke of delivering innovations; capabilities in consulting, technology, and outsourcing; its structure in operations; and global data. He emphasized the importance of the two types of Service Level Agreements (SLA), the SLA to the client and the company's internal SLA . The internal SLA is designed with higher standards and is used as a measure to ensure delivery. By meeting their internal SLA will ensure delivery on their clients' SLA . He spoke on how Accenture compared against its competitors in the outsourcing industry. He mentioned the importance and the focus on retaining talented people by providing great career paths. In comparison to its competitors, Accenture had the lowest attrition.
The best experience was when we ran into Mr. Rodrigo Lobo in a local restaurant. He recognized a group of us and asked us to join him for lunch. He asked about us and shared a little of his personal life, family, and experiences in the United States . We got to know him not only on a professional level but on a personal level. Rodrigo is a genuine man. His kind of character is typical of the Brazilian culture. Brazilians are curious to know of you and at the same time welcome you with open arms.
