Randy Patton PMO Allstate Insurance |
Mr. Randy Patton is an accomplished professional with nineteen years of experience leading large-scale, complex programs in the insurance, financial services, public sector, and telecommunications industries. He has a proven track record of establishing and managing Program Management Offices that utilized a portfolio approach to recommend project prioritization and sequencing to improve the probability of success while reducing the overall program risk. Reporting to the executive leadership within the organization, his main responsibility for managing the PMO included budget, quality, schedule and scope of the implementations. Today, as a Director at Allstate, he is currently managing a strategic consumer initiative. Previously, he has successfully led two other large-scale transformational programs at Allstate including the retirement of eight legacy producer administration systems with the implementation of a new producer administration system and the integration of fifty disparate HR systems into two applications that added business functionality and reduce maintenance costs. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration. In addition, he completed a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan with an emphasis on Marketing and Corporate Strategy. Both degrees were completed with highest distinction. |

Marianne Hewitt Managing Director Integrated Growth Solutions |
Ms. Hewitt is an accomplished consulting and technology executive. She has a strong, hands-on knowledge of CRM working with clients to achieve organic growth through multi-channel marketing and sales initiatives. As a former technology executive and strategist, she has led the transformation of organizations from legacy mentalities to rapid-response, client-focused, service delivery organizations. She has developed line of business and enterprise-wide business and technology strategies for organizations. She has proven successes in creating and implementing solutions of technologies, business processes, and organization improvements to help achieve business objectives across the entire value chain. In addition to experience in the consulting business, Hewitt has held senior management positions in industry including insurance. Ms. Hewitt received her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of DePaul University's Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems Leadership Council as well as an adjunct faculty member at DePaul. Hewitt leads the curriculum alignment subcommittee of the Illinois Technology Associations Academic Outreach program and is working on her Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Olayele Adelakun is an Associate professor of MIS at DePaul University Chicago, Illinois, School of Computer Science, Telecommunication and Information Systems (CTI). His research focuses on IT Outsourcing, ERP systems implementation, and Information systems quality and Evaluation. He has conducted case studies in both medium size companies and multinational companies in Finland and the United States. He has published over thirty articles in conferences, books and journals. He holds an M.S. in Information Processing Science from University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland and Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration, Turku, Finland | |||||
Prof. Terry Steinbach CDM, DePaul University |
Theresa Steinbach holds a a PhD in
Computer Science, MS in Information Systems, MBA in Quantitative
Economics and a BA in Mathematics from DePaul University. Her
primary research interests are system development methodology,
project management and IT ethics. Prior to teaching full-time for
DePaul CDM, Terry owned her own consulting firm that specialized in
maximizing technology for business growth and profits. Her client
base included representatives from the banking and nursing home
industries, accounting firms, mortgage bankers, park districts and
other municipal entities, and small and mid-size retail businesses
