Any student currently enrolled in a DePaul CDM course is eligible for tutoring.
Q: How much does tutoring cost?
Tutoring is free.

Q: Where are the tutors located?
Tutors are located in the 2nd floor lab of CDM, room 208.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment with a tutor?
Tutoring is on a walk-in basis. A sign-up sheet is located in the 2nd floor lab for half-hour increments. Tutors will make every effort to meet with people in a timely manner.
Q: What can a tutor do for me?
The DePaul CDM tutors are dedicated to helping students understand the key concepts necessary for success in their courses. However, tutors absolutely will not write code, debug programs or complete homework assignments. Both students and tutors are required to follow the guidelines of the Academic Integrity Policy of DePaul University.
Q: Can I use the tutoring center to help me with assignments for my job or internship?
No. The tutoring center is only for CDM coursework.
Q: What courses can I get help with?
Most tutors can aid students in the undergraduate core courses. Further, some tutors may be able to help with graduate level courses. Consult the Find a Tutor page to search for available tutors for a particular course.
Q: I am a graduate student. Can I use the tutoring center?
The tutoring center focuses on helping with undergraduate courses and graduate prerequisite courses. Graduate level courses, especially 500 level graduate courses, have limited coverage.

Q: I am a DL student, can I still get tutoring?
Yes. Tutoring via distance learning is available by utilizing Wimba. Please see the Distance Learning section for more information.
Q: What should I bring with me?
Students should bring all course material (books, handouts, notes, etc) with them.
