Call For Papers
There will be a Conference Proceedings. However, due to the anticipated large number of participants, papers should be from two to four pages. The format for papers is the same as for ISAMA/BRIDGES 2003. In particular, below the title include your mailing and email addresses followed by a preface. The deadlines for papers are March, 15, 2004 for hard copies and April 23, 2004 for papers in digital formats. Papers should be submitted to Nat Friedman, Dept. of Mathematics, Univ. at Albany-SUNY, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12222. We recommend early submission to guarantee consideration for inclusion in the schedule of speakers.
Digital Formats
The preferred format is MS-Word, though .PDF files can be accepted as well. Please e-mail digital files to: artmath@math.albany.edu
Images
Papers may include images. For more complete consideration of their work, artists may also wish to submit up to ten visual images in the form of slides, CD or e-mail .jpeg images. Also, artists submitting presentations on their work may, in lieu of a formal paper, submit their images in an MS-Word or .PDF document in a layout similar to the suggested format of the formal paper. Please note, however, that we ask that images be embedded in the document rather than as a separate file or print. Precede images with an introductory paragraph. Identify works depicted with title, date, medium, and year of execution.
In order to assure clear reproduction of images in the proceedings please limit color to black and white and limit the number of images to 12 with 4 to 6 per page.
