Guidelines for Project Submissions

Keep backup copies of all assignments. The late penalty will
not be waived if you lose an assignment or submit a wrong version.

Files for all projects except the Website Plan must be uploaded to the
ectweb2 server in the correct folder.

After the project is uploaded, you must also submit three
things on the Course Online Assignment Submission System (COL):
- The URL to the uploaded page in a comment on COL
- The URL to your Project 1 index page
- The source code of your project in a .txt or .zip file.
Do not submit the source code as an .aspx or .htm file.

The WebsitePlan project is not uploaded but submitted directly as a Word file
(.doc or .docx extension). This file must also include your name in the filename,
for example, website-plan.doc or website-plan.docx). The WebsitePlan project
must also include a header with the following at the top:
your name, the project name, the date.

There is a maximum penalty of 10% for a WebsitePlan submission that does not
follow the naming convention and include a header.

There is a maximum penalty of 10% for submitted links that
do not work.

Submit assignment on COL at
http://col.cti.depaul.edu:
- Use your campus connect username and password to log on.
- Select the course The Internet and Web (IT 130).
- Select Submit Assignments on the left.
- Browse to find the file to submit.
- Press Submit File.
- Test your project after submitting it.
