Guidelines for CSC 433 Project Submissions
Maximum 10 point deduction for submissions that do not conform to these specifications.
- The input file for each project must be placed in the folder
c:/datasets so that your project
can be easily executed by the grader.
- Each submission should contain the following items. In each case, replace
smith by your last name and stanley by your first name in that order. For
example, your submission for Project 1 should contain the following:
- The SAS or R source code files, as text files: e.g., proj1SmithStanley.sas,
or proj1SmithStanley.R
- All input files files that were used: e.g., erie-marathon-2006.txt
- The files in Step 1 should be submitted in a zip file: proj1SmithStanley.zip.
Put the files in a folder named proj1SmithStanley and zip the entire
folder. Zip files are preferred to .rar or .7z files.
- A correctly named zip file: proj1TrumpDonald.zip.
Examples of wrongly named files: proj1TrumpObama.zip, proj1Trump.zip, hw1.TrumpDonald.zip, project1TrumpDonald.zip,
proj1--trump-donald.zip,
proj 1 Trump Donald.zip, proj1TrumpDonaldStanley.zip.
- If you have a Chinese name, show your family name first, then your personal name.
Correct: proj1XiJinping.zip. Incorrect: proj1JinpingXi.zip, proj1Xi.zip
