DR. LJUBOMIR PERKOVIC joined the CTI faculty in September of 2000, after two years on the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Perkovic obtained his Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization at the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, and he holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hunter College of the City University of New York. His research interests include graph theory and algorithms, probabilistic analysis of algorithms, distributed and wireless computing. He likes to do research with students interested in these areas, and he also coaches the DePaul Programming teams.

 

 

 

 

 

DR. JAMES YU is an assistant professor at CTI. He received his Ph.D. in computer science in 1985 at Purdue University. Dr. Yu actively teaches courses in the School of CTI at DePaul University. He specializes in network communications and security.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DR. DANIEL MITTLEMAN is an Associate Professor at DePaul University's School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems. His research focuses on groupware, group decision making, and virtual collaboration. He has been invited to speak on these subjects by NASA, The World Bank, the Department of Defense, and NCSA. His projects include investigation of collaboration aboard US Navy ships; development of team processes to support architectural planning, collaborative writing, and brainstorming; and the design of technology-supported collaboration facilities. He has published over two dozen papers and presented over fifty conference talks in these areas. He holds an AB and MBA from Washington University (St. Louis) and a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
