Game Review Data

New on October 27, 2009

• AndriySub3074.zip (117 MB) -- A reduced subset of Gamespot reviews, containing 3074 games.  Made by Andriy.  Texts are splitted into sentences (taken from Krishna's all-sentence version).  This is the dataset we will use in our database.
• GamespotAllSentences.zip (276 MB) -- The complete set of Gamespot reviews, where texts are splitted into sentences.  Made by Krishna.

• KrishnaGiantBombDatabase-all.zip (5.5 MB) -- Krishna's GiantBomb tables for games, characters, genres, companies, etc. plus game to character mapping, game to concept mapping, etc. AND Game to Similar Games mapping.
• Gameplay-adjs-count-with-verbs.dat (8 KB) -- Noriko's list of adjectives and some verbs which modify 'gameplay'.  576 of them (expanded from the previous 531 adjective-only version).

The "Big" data files:

• CarlGiantBombCrawl.zip (75 MB) -- from GiantBomb, crawled by Carl, as of October 13, 2009.
  This zip file contains all entries at GiantBomb for characters, companies, concepts, franchises, games and locations.
• Gamespot.zip (297 MB) -- from Gamespot, the last version as of April 22, 2009.
  This expands into several sub-folders for various platforms.

The old versions

• Bot.zip (54 MB) -- from Gamespot, an older version as of April 7, 2009.  Has less number of titles, also less number of reviews for a given title.
