CCC: Special Issues

This is a list of the special journal issues resulting from the conference. Each year a small number of conference submissions are selected by the program committee and their authors are invited to submit to a journal. The submissions go through the normal journal refereeing but will often appear sooner than if they had been submitted the usual way.

From the conference's inception in 1986 to 2003 the special issue was in the Journal of Computer and System Sciences (JCSS), published by Elsevier, with the exception of 1990, when it appeared in the Elsevier journal Theoretical Computer Science.  Since 2004, it has appeared in the journal Computational Complexity, published by Birkhäuser.
