Philmont 2008: Crew 713-K1

I was a member of one of the two crews that were part of the 2008 Chicago Area Council contingent heading to Philmont.  Our crew followed itinerary 25. 

We left Chicago on Friday, July 11th, on AmTrak.  We arrived Saturday morning at La Junta, Colorado, where we spent the day and night at the Koshare Indian Museum.  We left there early Sunday morning, arriving at Philmont before lunch.  We hit the trail the next day, the 14th, and came off on Thursday, July 24th.  We boarded the return the train on Friday, the 25th, and arrived back in Chicago on Saturday, the 26th.
