Week 9 Outline

• Perform initial GOMS KLM and empirical testing (room 801, CTI). Each group will perform an analysis on one of the following products:
  • Travelocity. Possible task: looking for available flights.
  • Reader Restaurant Finder. Possible task: looking for a convenient restaurant that serves good food.
  • Reader SpaceFinder. Possible task: looking for apartment to rent or buy.
  • Currency conversion. Possible task: convert amount of one currency into another using a common rate (e.g. credit card).
  • Campus connect. Possible task: checking if a course is offered for a particular term.
  • Sessions Color Calculator. Possible task: Find the complement color of a light blue and look up its code for HTML.
  • Mortgage Calculator. Possible task: Find the monthly payment for a loan with a specific term and interest rate.
