Midterm Exam

The exam is worth 40 points. Most people should finish within one and a half hours, but anyone may take up to 2 hours. In-class students may choose to use the rest of the time working on their team projects.

Coverage

All topics presented and discussed through week 4. The exam may ask questions over what you did in the individual assignment and the first team project.

Format

• Approximately 5 multiple choice (1 point each).
• Approximately 10 short-answer questions (2 points each), which can typically be answered with a sentence or two.
• Approximately 3 Extended-answer questions (4 or 5 points each), which can typically be answered with a paragraph.

Be prepared to explain strengths, weaknesses and appropriateness of the various methods and design models discussed and used in class.

DL students may choose to take this exam in class on Thursday October 7. All DL students must take the exam by Wednesday October 13.
