Overview
The report summarizes the results of the design and prototying process.
Report Objectives
Communicate the following:
- Site functionality and how it fulfills original goal
- Site architecture and design
- Feasibility
- Users and environment
- Future recommendations
- Motivation for the site's design
Report Contents and Structure
The following are the recommended sections
for the report. Variations are allowed provided that they address the listed
objectives and promote readability and usability.
Executive summary
Briefly address the objectives of the report with a
few paragraphs. Emphasize feasibility, which includes user satisfaction and
technical solutions. Describe functionality and site design in broad terms.
Site Functionality
This is a revision from the original proposal. You
may want to relate the final revision to the original intention.
Site architecture and design
Describe the architecture and design. Explain and refer to diagrams showing
the site's architecture. Focus on the details relevant to the prototype.
With subsequent subsections, explain the process for determining the
architecture and design. Use previous reports for structuring these subsections.
This includes users and their environment. Refer to appendix to list results
from the usability tests.
Recommendations and future additions
Explain what may still need to be
changed. Describe additional pages that need to be designed and added.
Submission Materials
Turn in the report and either a copy of the prototype or a link to it.
Grading
Full credit will be awarded to a complete and well-edited document that
addresses the report's objectives.
