Root Concept (Needs Analysis)

HCI 210 students could use a web application to organize schedules, documents and designs for the HCI 210 team project. The UCD Project Organizer will aid project collaboration especially for students who cannot meet in-person during the quarter.

User and task analysis

We will develop examples as a class.

• User selection questions for interviews
• Interview questions and guide
• Possible examples of personas and scenarios
• Example task hierarchy
• Example process analysis

Functional analysis

• Supported tasks
• Feature lists

Usability specifications

• Human performance metrics
• User satisfaction ratings

Note: it's possible to place task information in either the User and Task Analysis section or the Functional Analysis section.
