XNA Lab Grant, June 2007, funded by Microsoft Corporation
PIs: Amber Settle and Joe Linhoff
Amount: Approximately $15,000
Purpose: To support the creation of new courses and the modification of existing courses to use XNA, a platform that allows the development of games that can be played on the Xbox 360. The main function of the grant is to modify the existing CDM Game Development Lab to include XNA software and Xbox 360s. The grant provides 20 Xbox 360s, 20 XNA Creator’s Club memberships, and other funds to cover the purchase of monitors, software and the redesign of lab space
